The most popular colors will still be brown and natural tans. (These are recommended for staging)
Split Pea by Benjamin Moore is predicted to be the hottest color!
Item# 2146-30
The other colors of choice from designers are dark greens, periwinkle, with red, yellow. Peach, blue and mauve may make a come back, not what we remember, but slightly trendier variations. Deep-tones such as pumpkin orange, browns and cranberry, red brick, and blue.
Grey blues.
Pale violets.
Creamy whites.
More youthful and contemporary colors of pink, orange and green.
*Remember interior decorating and using these colors are a personal choice and your preference. Home staging is not decorating, it is neutralizing. So these colors would not be recommended.

Great info...thanks for sharing.
Great info. So for resells, we should be telling our clients to repaint in the brown and natural tan schemes? And what exactly is natural tan anyway?
Thanks Cindy! Can't wait to see the new colors out in the stores too.
I love pumpkin in the dining room-it is such a yummy color!!! :)
Wanda-You are welcome!
Roger-Light browns, natural tan is really just a paint color name. Just tans, sand color.
Michele-They look very rich.
Cathy-I had a client that was going to use that in his theater room, but it turned orange, had to go with another color.
I really like SW Match Book Tan. I gave a swatch out of a book to my husband to buy the paint and evidently SW had a name for it!
