This was a one-story contemporary that belonged to a bachelor that decided to move closer to downtown, that seems to be the trend. It had quite a bit of space, but as you can see, it needed some work. He was great and did everything I advised him to do. It took a while, because of his schedule, but his work paid off. Now this guy gets it! His brother another one of my clients, house sold in under 30 days, so he told him to call me before he did anything to his place. I'm glad he did! We used Redesign Etc.'s inventory to stage this house.

Oh My! Your mind must have been racing with ideas when you did the walkthrough. Your furniture in combination with the homeowner's area rug really let the fireplace become the focal point now. Beutiful.
The kitchen looks sooooo much better now. Up to date and the buyers will feel like they can just move right in and invite their friends and family over for a house warming dinner. Good vibe!
My big improvement, especially in the photos of the kitchen! Is this all the same house? The room styles are so different from the top photo to the last?

Michelle-The owner did a lot of work. It was a good house for entertaining. And the fireplace was definitely the focal point.
Mary-Yes, it's all the same house. The entire house was painted two nuetral colors, but it's hard to tell in photos. The beam in kitchen was painted a darker color, as well as some other rooms.
Cindy ~ Such a typical bachelor's pad -- and you did a fantastic transformation in every room! The living room focal point is correctly restored and the kitchen and bedroom are now warm and appealing. Great photos too!

Hi Cindy, Looks great! We just staged a home that had a similar "apple green" paint color in the dining area. We convinced the sellers and agent to paint it a more neutral color, which made such a huge difference in the flow of the home. Keep up the good work!

Wow! This really was a bachelor pad and you turned into something amazing. The great room looks so warm and cozy, but still spacious and the eye is still drawn to the wonderful detailing on the ceiling. The kitchen transformation is incredible......did you add cabinet doors or where they just open during the before picture? I am sure this property will sell soon. Thank you for sharing!

Yikes, that kitchen eating area was a "bachelor pad" So glad the green was painted over! It was ghastly.
