- Clean out your closet.

- Paint a room.
- Do something on your to-do-list.

- Cook something you've never tried before.
- Go shopping, the stores are open on New Years Eve.
- Watch football.
- Rent movies and have a movie marathon.
- Go see a matinee, and try out a new restaurant.
- Catch up on your sleep.
- For women, try experimenting with your hair and make-up for a new years look.
- Read a book.
- Start a fire, have some wine, and watch your favorite movies.
- Call old friends and catch-up.
- Make out New Years Resolutions.
- Take a hike in the park, exercise, or just get outdoors, even if it's cold.
- Take an overnight trip to an area you've never been to, and experience what's out there.
- Go to a New Years Eve Church service.
- Go to the grocery store and buy all the food you wouldn't normally buy...and pig out!!
