2007 Hurricane Season Notes

2007 Houston/Galveston Hurricane Workshop
Now is the time to get ready for the 2007 hurricane season. In preparation, the Houston/Galveston National Weather Service Office will hold its annual Hurricane Workshop on Saturday, June 9, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. As always, admission will be free and open to the public. More details coming soon!

Hurricane Forecasting

While forecasting in itself is hard enough, forecasting hurricanes is by far more difficult. The intrepid Dr. William Gray of Colorado State University endeavors to do so.
