From what I see it looks like you have to meet certain requirements that may make it difficult. The first is that according to their "How it works"  section you must have a current Sherwin-Williams account and have purchased $5,000 worth of their product during the precious 12 months. Am I missing something here?

James, I believe contractors had to buy $5,000 of paint in last 12 months.  I don't think it applies to decorators, Sherwin-Williams wants you to specify their paint to homeowners you get from this referral.

  • You agree to specify Sherwin-Williams paint to all homeowner projects that result from your participation in this program.
  • You have a valid Sherwin-Williams account number.
  • You have purchased a minimum of $5,000 of Sherwin-Williams paint in the past 12 months.
  • You must be located in one of the 50 U.S. states. Canada coming soon!

Cindy, this is really good news and I did know a thing about it until you blogged it.  You know the last two client's (one a builder, one a reg. home owner) both specified SW paint which is fine for me.   I like SW paint and their customer service here is good.  Thanks.
