Real Estate agents always love referrals, who doesn't? But many may not realize that Home Stagers work with Homeowners that have not listed their house yet, nor do they any idea on whom they are going to use. Homeowners know that we work with real estate agents all the time and will usually ask our opinion on who we would recommend. Especially someone that is familiar with that area or neighborhood. I know personally, if I've worked with Real Estate agents, in their area, I will definitely recommend them. We as stagers have tons of referral opportunities for Realtors, why not try out a local stager, and see what happens. It costs you zero dollars, makes your listing show better, and sell faster, and you get future referral opportunities from the stager you used. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I didn't realize that stagers have referrals for agents all the time. I should look into using them more.
Cindy, kindred spirit businesses are great referral resources but often with REA'a it seems like a one way street. I have asked for and received cards for quite a few agents and referred homeowners to them. Some have thanked me but I have never received a referral in return. Some have never even acknowledged the referral! Perhaps they are working with another stager. Perhaps they don't need the business. After one or two tries I drop them from my list. It makes me wonder how they will take care of my clients.
