Cullens Upscale American Grille, bordering on the Clear Lake and Houston's suburbs is the newest, finest restaurant in this area. Cullens, recently opened in March of 08 with 37,000 sf of dining space. Executive Chef Paul Lewis, was hired away from Quattro, a Four Seasons Resturant, where he worked for 9 years. They age their own meat, make thier own pepporoni, sausage and spices.
The most unusual aspect of this unique restaurant is the Macy's Table, a private room for 12 people, that is elevated above the dining area, that can be reserved by spending $1500. This exclusive room will also get you a private tour of the Chef's kitchen.
The main dining area seats 250 and entrees range from $18-$45.
Reservations are recommended but not required. But wait times on weekends can be up to 2 hours.
I am looking forward to trying out this newest addition to the area, and what a great place to go for special occasions.
Oh, And my birthday just happens to be August 16, next Saturday, hmmm...what a nice suprise this would be... hint...hint! ; )

We use to go to a restaurant right on Clear Lake and were over there last week and the restaurant was a totally different restaurant. Although it has been years since we were there. We were looking for someplace that evening. I guess we will know next time.
