As much as home stagers need coffee, I thought it would be interesting to write about what I think of Houston’s coffee choices. Basically, from what I’ve seen, it’s got Starbucks and McDonalds (I know there are probably more, but these have to be the most prominent.) Now, McDonalds is said to use better coffee beans than any other chain that sells coffee in the U.S. However, even though I like a good cup of McDonalds coffee, I have to introduce Houston to what I think to be the best coffee chain in all of North America: Biggby Coffee (formerly known as Beaners). This chain originated in the city of East Lansing, Michigan in 1995 and has since spread as far south as Florida. I used to hate coffee, but seriously, one trip to Biggby and I was hooked (no joke!) I know they don’t have Biggby here in Houston, but for anyone who reads this, if you are ever anywhere in the Midwest and need a caffeine fix, test out Biggby; I promise, you won’t be disappointed! www.biggby.com
