Broccoli Salad Recipe

This is a great recipe for people that aren't crazy for broccoli, it is delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Bunch Fresh Broccoli, chopped
  • 1 Small Red Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled (I use turkey bacon to cut the fat)

Dressing:

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Vinegar
  • 2/3 Cup Mayonnaise (I use Fat Free Miracle Whip)

Directions:

Cook bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel, and crumble.  Mix sugar, vinegar and mayonnaise in a salad bowl.  Add broccoli, onion, cheese and bacon.  Toss well with salad ingredients.  Depending on the amount of broccoli, dressing may need to be doubled.
