The SCP (Second Chance Pets) is an organization that allows you to take in a dog or cat as a foster home until the animal is adopted by a loving family. The spring seems to be the the time of year that the SCP has an abundant amount of animals. The SCP have dogs or cats available every Saturday at the Petco store at Bay area Blvd. and the Petsmart store across from the Baybrook Mall the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.
Photos of the animals are posted at www.secondchancepets.org

What a great idea and I'm glad to see Petsmart is involved. It doesn't surprise me as we have a Ferret shelter here in Oregon and I know they donate a lot to them every year.
