Stella Mare Village which means "star of the sea" in Italian is a new community located on 25 acres just west of 7 Mile Road on Galveston's West Beach. Lots will average around 5,000 square feet, and homes will be approximately 3,000 square feet. There are plans for 80 single-family homes, and the style will be traditional Gulf Coast architecture with Hardie Plank or vinyl siding.

Commerical development will take up around six acres or 100,000 square feet and will include a major grocery store, bank, two restaurants, retail, and professional office space with the possibility of two mid-rise residential condomminum towers.
