The Texas Mariners Cruising Association is a non-profit corporation established in 1979 to promote the enjoyment of cruisers on the waters of Galveston Bay and coastal waters. They are the largest boating club on the Gulf coast. Membership is open to any and all wishing to be out on the water, be they power boaters, sailors or crew. TMCA typically plans a dock party for the first Friday of every month. October will feature a special Downtown Houston Dock Party October 12 in conjunction with the Allen's Landing Cruise. Bill & Ellen Hartzog will host the dock party for November on the 2nd at their house on Tiki Island. check the website for details as the events approach.
The general meeting of the TMCA is always held on the third Friday of the month at the Elks Lodge. The next meeting will be October 19. The lodge is located across from Home Depot at 823 Hanson, Kemah, Texas. Dinner (if desired) starts at 7pm followed by the meeting, which begins at 7:30pm.
