The League City Historical Society's annual Ghost Tour of Fairview Cemetery will be on Oct. 24. This year's event will highlight the "Descendants of the Blue and Gray".
The tour begins at West Bay Common School Children's Museum and after the brief talks from the guest speakers, visitors will travel on their own a short distance down Kansas Street to Fairview Cemetery. Here visitors will be greeted by "ghosts of the past" depicting the stories under the stones. Tours are scheduled for 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. where reservations are required. Tickets are available for sale at the Museum (281-553-2994) or through society members. Tickets cost $10 Adults, $5 for seniors and students.
