Uof H Clear Lake's Art Gallery and art exhibition space highlights the creative works of local Texas artist and student during the upcoming fall semester.
During the Bay area Houston Community College Faculty Exhibition I, Sept 4-Oct. 10, faculty from Galveston College, College of the Mainland, Alvin Community College and Brazosport College will display work in the university's Art Gallery. In the Art exhibition area, master printer and artist printmaker Katherine Brimberry offers art fans a look at work from several of her series including " Maladies of a Fallen World" and " Notebook Maladies," Sept. 1- Dec. 10. Brimberry's ongoing "Self Portrait" eries is also included.
The Art Gallery, located on the first floor of the Bayou Building, is open Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. -non. The art exhibition area is located in the Bayou building, Atrium I, Level 2. Admission to both art show-cases is free. For more information about gallery shows, call 281-283-33777.
