Product for Odors That Last ~ Even for Sensitive Noses

                                           Air Infusions®

Photo Glade Air Infusions

Odors and scents are always an ongoing topic here, but I came across this product and I love it! Glade Air Infusions is the first air freshener that keeps a room fresh for an hour, with its UltraLast technology it actually lingers for much longer. (Several hours from my experience)

My allergy doctor once told me I was the most allergic person he'd ever seen, so when it comes to scents, I'm hypersensitive, I can get a migraine, have allergy reactions, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. So I can honestly say that I have had no problems with sensitiviy, or reactions to this product.

I'm not saying you should cover up odors as they can reveal a potential problem, this is just to give a house a fresh natural scent, not a heavy perfumed scent, or that of a burning candle, which I'm even more sensitive to. There are several scents to choose from, I use the "Clean Linen".

This product is the perfect balance, it's light, and fresh, with a hint of fragrance that's just pleasing enough to give you that clan smell. It's now overpowering, and it wouldn't take care of a major odor, but it's perfect to freshen up a home.

This would be great for a home seller to spritz around house before they leave in the mornings or to spray in a home that has not been open for a while, or even an open house. It neutralizes odors.

It also has a rust proof bottom, for those humid bathrooms, it's recyclable, no CFC's and the bottle is attractive compared to a standard freshener can.

Can't beat the price at around $2 each. Add it to your home staging tool bag.

Cindy, thanks for the tip. I'll pickup one next time at the supermarket. Many people are sensitive to some of the fragrances.

Pamela, like I said this product is one product I could handle, it was faint enough, yet still fresh.

Cathy-Let me know what you think.

Maureen, I usually use febreeze, but it has a heavier scent and doesn't last as long.

Cindy- I'm from Houston and if you have allergies that must be a year round thing for you. I love to learn of new products and am going to put it on my shopping list and try it out. I agree with you, too heavy scents can be more of a turn off.

Will give it a try, thanks Cindy. I will use Febreze's linen scent but in general don't like sprays. Hope that this is a keeper.

Anything that doesn't smell like incense or fruity candles is a plus in my book. Clean the odor, don't enhance it.

My doctor is super-sensitive to scents, so much so that days before an appointment you can expect to get a call reminding you to not wear deodorant, perfumes, hair spray, etc. So, I was very surprised to find a jar of "SmellsBeGone" in the powder room adjacent to her waiting room. I turned the jar over to see the Bed, Bath, & Beyond label, and the next day bought my own "Calming Rain" odor absorbing gel. I've had it in my home a few weeks now, as I do have a dog, and will be recommending it to clients as well.

I'll also try your recommendation to compare results. Thanks.

Thanks Cyndy. My allergies are bad also. Could be a nice gift to leave behind for the home-seller. Just add a bow ;)

Cindy,

Thanks for sharing this new product. I haven't heard of it before. I've always used Pure Ayre a very natural product that removes odors without any scent. Great to know there is more than one product out there that works.

Those products can make your home toxic. Just take a look inside your ac ducts to find where the smells are coming from. There are hundreds of pounds of moldy lint and dust in there if they're over five years old and you've never had

air duct cleaning done. It's pretty gross.
