Thanks Maureen McCabe for inviting me to post my blog. My name is Cindy Bryant  home stager and newbie to ActiveRain from League City, TX. Our City by the bay is on the Gulf Coast between Galveston and Houston. A native Texan, I am the owner of Redesign Etc. offering Home Staging /Room Redesign & Curb Appeal Enhancement, with several more services in the works. My website is a work in progress, but isn't everything. I love ActiveRain, what a great source. I put this on my profile about me, but I'm using it as my first blog. Here goes, a little snapshot of me.

First and foremost, I absolutely love what I do.  I've been decorating since my early teens.  I got it from my mom. We always lived in a beautifully decorated home, she actually even started Home Interiors in Oklahoma. I would go with her to home party's watch her work, and soak up her wealth of knowledge. I remember completely redecorating my room, at age 13 picking out wallpaper, custom drapes, carpet, matching comforter, beanbag chair, and beads that hung from my bedroom door. Complete with coordinating lamps and mobile hanging from the ceiling (remember those!). I've also had the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world.  Traveling is my other passion. There are so many elements, that I have been able to incorporate into decorating from my experiences in travel.  I love the European architecture, the rugged coastlines with stucco homes dangling on sides of cliffs, to Tuscan villas perched atop a hill in the middle of a vineyard. All of this combined with the love of enhancing homes, has been a wonderful palette from me to work from. The transformation of rooms, after home staging is what its all about. To turn a room that was blah, into "wow" is not only amazing to do, but a task I love to tackle.
